Katy Perry will lend her voice to the upcoming animated Smurfs movie. Although she won't appear on-screen, it marks the first time she'll be involved in a feature film. Variety.com reports that George Lopez, Jonathan Winters and Alan Cumming will also voice characters in the flick. Neil Patrick Harris has been cast as the lead in the film, which is based on the popular 80's cartoon series. The movie will be out July 2011.

 

BROOKE BURKE IS NEW 'DWTS' CO-HOST? Former Dancing With the Stars champ Brooke Burke has reportedly been tapped as the show's new co-host. Burke would be replacing Samantha Harris, who stepped down from the program earlier this year.
