Last week Ke$ha uploaded a YouTube video of her and some pals defacing the Hollywood sign to make it read "Ke$hawood." Now several sources say that the video is a hoax.

A "trusted source" tells PerezHilton.com, "There has been a lot of news about a recent prank pulled on the Hollywood Sign. I want to inform you that it is a fake. The General Service Officers who watch and protect the Sign 24-7, have confirmed that nothing has happened to the Sign."
