Luke Bryan Makes Amends On Valentine's Day

Luke Bryan is on top of things this Valentine's Day! He's got a definite plan for a date on Sunday (February 14th) with his wife, Caroline. The singer tells us he is still making up for a Valentine's Day gone wrong that happened a few years ago. "We were goin'to like Stoney River (steak house) and I didn't get a reservation, and we went to (Italian restaurant) Buca Di Beppo, y'all. It was a nightmare. I don't think she's ever been more mad at me because they walk you through the kitchen, and she's like, 'We're out here on Valentine's Day and I'm gettin'walked through a kitchen!'There was like little 15-year-olds like giving promise rings, you know, like giving class rings out. Me and Caroline are sittin'there, you know, so, anyway, I've got the reservation already lined up and everything, so. . . "
Earlier this week, Luke celebrated his first Number One hit as an artist with "Do I," which he co-wrote with Lady Antebellum members Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood.
As a songwriter, Luke's first Number One hit, "Good Directions," was charted by Billy Currington in 2006.
