Eric Clapton's third Crossroads Guitar Festival will take place on June 26th at Chicago's Toyota Park in Chicago -- the home of the first Fest back in 2007. Billboard reported that headliners joining Clapton will be the Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, John Mayer, B.B. King, and Sheryl Crow.
The 26-act-festival will also feature Robert Cray, James Burton, Jimmie Vaughan, Albert Lee, Bert Jansch, David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos, Earl Klugh, Robert Randolph, Joe Bonamassa, Sonny Landreth, Keb'Mo', Clapton band member Doyle Bramhall II, Gary Clark Jr., Hubert Sumlin, Joao Gilberto, and Pino Daniele.
Clapton's hero, good friend, and frequent collaborator B.B. King says that he always has time in his schedule to help out "Slowhand": "I would do anything that I could to help him, because he's been so helpful to me through the years. He's a tremendous player, such a nice person, too, man. He's a great guy. Eric Clapton is a good man - just a good man."
All proceeds benefit the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, the rehab center Clapton founded in 1997.
Tickets will go on sale on February 20th at 11 a.m. EST and run $100.
