Robbery Suspect

RCMP in Vernon are holding a 32-year-old female in connection with a robbery at a gas station and two attempted robberies on Thursday. In the first incident, a woman is alleged to have produced a knife and demanded the clerk at the Super Save gas station on 27th Street hand over money. Police say a weapon was then used at two attempted robberies at the Heavenly Grounds coffee shop on 27th Street and at another Super Save station -- this one on 32nd Street. No name has been released. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
