8/7/2012

It is a proud day for Habitat for Humanity Kelowna and an exciting day for a West Kelowna mother and her two special needs children.

The family will receive delivery tonight of their new modular home from the state of Oregon.

Habitat for Humanity's Jacki Wlodarczyk says thanks to the generosity of the community the new home has become a reality.

"This is a really exciting day for Habitat for Humanity Kelowna and Starr and her family. We have worked on this project since about April and to see the home actually arriving is bringing concept to reality".

The family is expected to be in the home by September.

The fundraising goal of $125 thousand dollar.
