Lawn Crispy from the Sunshine?

Having a hard time keeping the lawn green this summer? Forget that huge water bill......

A man in Indianapolis, Indiana said his secret to keeping the lawn green during dry weather is to paint it green. Timothy Birdwell came up with the solution after dry weather and a watering ban made it difficult to keep his lawn lush. Birdwell, who works for Imperial Painting, isn't using just any paint. It's a special dye designed for use on grass. He said, "If it rains, the grass just grows. At that point, you can go out there and touch it up if need be. You can have that kind of yard all year round with no water bill from watering your yard." Birdwell said the paint will last two to three months and the job he did on his yard would cost around $500 to $600. (UPI)
